Meet Erik, a dedicated member of our Ampersand family who took on his fitness journey just 8 months ago. His story is a testament to the incredible transformations that can happen when you commit to a healthier lifestyle and find the right support system.

Here’s how Erik turned his life around and achieved his goals with the help of our community!

“I joined CrossFit Ampersand about 8 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I joined because I was tired of being overweight, feeling sluggish and not sleeping well at night, just to name a few things.

Since joining CrossFit Ampersand, I have lost and kept off over 25 pounds, have more energy and I’m sleeping better than I have in years.

My goal is to be at the gym 5 days a week and to workout at the RX level consistently.

One of my best memories so far was I got my results from my last physical recently, and the doctor said all of my biometrics improved dramatically. This was a direct result of going to the gym and eating healthier.

My motivation to stay on this path is a combination of things; my overall health and the incredible coaches at Ampersand. The coaches want me to push myself so that I benefit from each workout, all the while they are making sure I’m doing everything correctly so that I don’t get injured.

Finally, everyone at Ampersand, from the coaches to the other members, are always smiling and happy, which makes me look forward to attending the next workout.”
